New RedGear Facility Opens
Nov. 18, 2007 – In 1972, TaxWorks founder Wayne Bates envisioned a facility in his home town of Kaysville, Utah where his business would be one of the shining success stories of this small northern Utah town. After Wayne’s passing in 2005, his wife Ann, son David, and other company officials worked hard to ensure Wayne’s vision was carried to fruition.
TaxWorks celebrated the opening of their new 37,000 square-foot facility in Kaysville UT, on November 13th. The company has expanded and moved all products under the umbrella trade name of RedGear Technologies. This name was conceived to cover all the TaxWorks product line, and several expansion products currently in design. The new facility currently houses over 200 employees and is currently one of Kaysville’s largest employers.
